According to the current design code of the anchoring to concrete, the compressive strength ofconcrete for Cast-in anchor has been limited up to 70MPa. However, we need to extend the scopeof the limitation as the use of high-strength concrete is increasing gradually. This study,evaluated the tensile strength of cast-in anchors in SC 80MPa. In order to evaluate theperformance concrete breakout strength of single anchor, Tension tests were performed. Tensiontests were conducted on single anchor in SC with variables of embedment depth. Test result, thetest strength was developed higher than 1.36 times predicted strength.
