In this paper, statistical characteristics are derived based on the current status of concrete
bridges on the roads so that they can be used as meaningful information in construction phase as
well as maintenance of the bridges. Concrete bridges are relatively small compared to other bridges,
have a long service life, and have a low extent of damage and maintenance requirements. More
extensive and detailed statistical analysis will be required due to the structural characteristics of
each bridge type, the existing maintenance reinforcement, and the variety of causes of damage.
